We were thrilled this week to host Ronald McDonald and his sidekick Tammy at the Richland and Crocker Libraries for our Summer Reading Program.

Tammy started the show by sharing a book with the kids about how they can Build a Better World, our Summer Reading theme this year. Then Ronald delighted kids and adults alike with his signature mixture of magic and humor. His high-energy, half-hour show used Building a Better World as its foundation, and over 25 kids at each library were able to learn through the entertainment he provided.

We hope that you’ve signed up for Summer Reading and enjoyed the performers we’ve had throughout the month of June! Summer Reading Program wraps up in July, and we’ll celebrate with a big party at the end. If you’ve read all your books by the deadline, be sure to join us for pizza, prizes, and FUN!
