Friday is full of all kinds of fun things to do here in Pulaski County. Your kiddos can wear their pajamas to hear a story, you can cruise-in and see some great cars, or you can hear some good old honky tonk music.
1. Pajama story time
Waynesville Library invites local kiddos to come on down to the library at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 21 at 5 p.m. for pajama story time. The kids are invited to come in their pajamas and bring their stuffed animals for a special story time in their pajamas. They’ll be listening to books read by Ms. Amanda, making crafts, enjoying snacks and enjoying a fun time at the library. Story time is open to all ages.
If you like classic cars or own one, you can join in at the cruise-in at Lucky Dog Consignment, better known as the old H&L grocery store in Dixon, at the junction of Highway 28 and C Highway. The cruise-in is hosted by 4-Ever Young Cruizers and they say they plan to have the grill fired up to cook hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausages. The event will be Friday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
3. Cody Woody concert
If you’re into traditional country music, Friday, July 21 will be the night for you. The Roadhouse Bar and Grille, in Laquey, will be featuring Cody Woody, a country music artist from Tulsa, Okla. He’ll be singing traditional country music, originals, and covers of favorite honky tonk heroes.
