t’s far too hot to be doing anything outside, so you library recommends that you stay inside and read! Fortunately, we’ve got some great new books to keep you entertained, informed, and engaged.

James Beard Foundation Award Winners: The James Beard Foundation awards the best cookbooks published each year. We recently received a selection of these award winning books, available at the Waynesville, Richland, and Crocker Libraries. Find “Dorie’s Cookies”, “A Square Meal: A Culinary History of the Great Depression”, and “The Middle Eastern Vegetarian Cookbook”, along with others, on the new books shelf at your library.

 

New Middle Reader Titles:

The latest Descendants novel by Melissa de la Cruz, “Rise of the Isle of the Lost”, is available at the Waynesville Library.

The entire “Dragon Masters” series, by Tracey West, is now available at the Richland Library.

Find “Way of the Warrior Kid” by Jocko Willink at the Richland Library.

 

New Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction Titles

Iris Johansen’s latest, Pandora’s Daughter, is available at all Pulaski County Library branches.

“Collared”, by David Rosenfelt, can be found at the Waynesville and Crocker Libraries. We’re always warned about judging a book by its cover, but the dogs fronting this one are adorable.

Finally, the CD Audiobook of Bill Nye’s “Everything All at Once” can be found at the Waynesville Library.
