Meet Libby, a new app built with love for readers to discover and enjoy eBooks and audiobooks from your library. Inspired by user and library feedback, Libby was designed to get people reading as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Why will you love Libby?

Libby is quick and easy for first time users, faster performance, customizable browsing options to find books you want faster. Libby also features customizable lists for tagging books you love, want to read, and books you might not have enjoyed as much.

Patrons of the Pulaski County Library District now have a new way to enjoy our selection of e-books and e-audiobooks. The free app, created by OverDrive, is available for Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch), and Windows 10 devices. To get started simply install the Libby app for your device’s app store. When you open the app, you need to find your library. You can search by library name, city, or zip code. Find our library, add your library card number, and begin searching our collection. Borrowed titles appear on your shelf and download to the app automatically so you can read them when you are offline.

From your shelf you can, tap Start Reading or Start listening to open a title. This feature is different from the OverDrive app library users have been using. Being able to read or listen without leaving the app is a feature patrons are sure to love. Patrons can also return their e-books and e-audiobooks from within the app as well.

If you are an e-book and e-audiobook enthusiast, or have never tried one we encourage you to download the Libby app and try it. If you only read e-books or e-audiobooks and do not currently have a Pulaski County Library card, visit our website,, and sign up for our E-card.
