Locals won’t want to miss the great lineup on Friday night at Railroad days this weekend. Saturday night Bad News Band will end the festivities with an amazing show. The lineup for Friday night is Zac Moore, Dale Duncan, Jon Gray and Garrett Curry.
Zac is a singer and song writer and now also produces music. Moore plays country and southern rock. When the Daily Guide asked Moore about playing Railroad Days and his music he explained,” It's great to be playing in my hometown especially an event like Railroad Days. Music is going good and I will be playing and touring full time come February. He went on to say, “It's great to be able to go out and be able to do what I love to do. Great to have all the support from the community as well.”
Dale Duncan explained that he has been in bands on and off for 25 years. He was in a band called "Sucker Punch " and a few stints with Flashback.
Duncan said, “I'm into alternative country, Neil Young, Tom petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd type guitar driven stuff .”
He told the Daily Guide he is working on some original tracks, slowly planning to record a few original songs eventually. He said he is really excited for Railroad Days.
The Daily Guide asked Garrett Curry about playing Railroad Days and he said that it will be “a fun time for the community to come together and spend a fun night at the park. We're going to be doing some Tom Petty type stuff and just simply enjoy ourselves while jamming. I'm a 16 year-old and I've been drumming since the age of eight. I've always been slamming my hands on random things as a kid because I love noise. I love how you can mix all of it together, and make something that someone can feel and love if you put your heart into it.”
He explained how he played as "CI2I" at a Halloween show last year at the same stage that attendees will be able to watch him Friday.
He said, “It was a great time and had a heck of a turn out. The lead singer's Dad took a rough head count of about 200 people that night. We're all really hoping for an even bigger turnout this time around. But honestly, not too sure where my life is going to go with music. I hope some day though, some sort of miracle happens. But for now, I'm just messing around. It should be a really great night, and I hope people from other towns can make it out to this one too.”
