The community is invited to honor its heroes next month.
Who is your hero? Is it a veteran, an active duty service member, a firefighter, a law enforcement officer, an emt, a teacher. grandfather, grandmother, mom, or dad?
Community members can recognize their heroes at this year’s “Field of Heroes.”
On November 10 - 11, the Armed Forces YMCA in conjunction with the City of St. Robert will be presenting a field of flags, at George M. Reed Park in St. Robert.
Each flag at the “Field of Heroes” is sponsored by a person, family or business to recognize and honor individuals they consider to be their heroes.
The flags will be arranged in precision rows like the flags in the Arlington National Cemetery.
The public is invited to walk through the field and spend some time reverently honoring the heroes. Photos are permitted.

Brother in Arms $500
Matt Rumph, executive director of the ASYMCA, told the Daily Guide that Phelps County Regional Medical Center is a Guardian sponsor and Navy Federal is a Brother in Arms sponsor.
All proceeds will go to support programs for the families and service members at Fort Leonard Wood.
