Our goals for this season was to win conference, win 20 games, and win districts. We have already met all those goals so everything else is just icing on the cake, but it would be nice to be the first team in our program's history to reach the final four. We will take it one game at a time from here on out and approach each game the same way we have approached all the other games this season and as long as we keep playing solid defense, have good approaches at the plate, and we have solid pitching we will have a chance to win each game we play.”
Tressa Hughes set the mood in the game with her pitching and a late game home run to secure the Dixon berth in the class 2 state quarter final game at Blair Oaks High School just south of Jefferson City.
Lexi Graves said about the season,”This has been a phenomenal season. Not only because of the wins, but because of the players and coaches. It is definitely a season to remember.”

Head Iberia Lady Rangers Coach Madeleine Cochran, said after the close game,”Tressa Hughes was just too much for us. We practiced hitting off the machine the past 4 days. We thought we'd get her timing down this time, but obviously it didn't work out that way. We went with Plan B, which was to bunt and play the short game. But her ball has so much rotation on it, we couldn't get the bunts to lay down.”
