The Class 4 All state selections are out and Waynesville had received their first ever player selected on the an All State Team.
Senior Morgan Loggins was selected to be on the Class 4 All State team for her work she has done as a catcher this season. She was also on the Class 4 All Regional team, Class 4 All DIstrict Team, All Ozark Conference team, and was selected as the Ozark Conference Player of the Year.
Head Waynesville Lady Tigers Softball Coach Scott Turner said this about her season, “Morgan had a phenomenal year this year. Not only was she one of the most feared hitters in the state hitting .643 with twelve home runs and 1.298 slugging percentage she was also one of the top defensive catchers as well. Morgan threw out 80% of the attempted base stealers. She has worked very hard in season and as well as out of season to earn this recognition her senior year.”
