On December 6, 2017 the St. Louis County Police Department arrested a wanted person out
of Phelps County. Early this morning, Law Enforcement received information on Justin P.
Giller’s whereabouts. They responded to the 200 block of Etta Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri.
Upon arrival, Giller was located inside a vehicle near the residence. He was taken into
custody and later transported to the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department.

Giller is charged with Felony Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Unlawful Possession of a
Firearm, Possession of Burglary tools, and Felony Stealing. His bond is $250,000.00. Giller is
suspected of burglaries, felony stealing, and numerous automobile thefts, in Phelps County,
Dent County, and Texas County. Additional warrants are expected after further
investigation.

Sheriff Richard Lisenbe praised the work of Deputies, Detectives and other Law
Enforcement, saying in a statement: “Working with other Law Enforcement agencies, we
were able to pursue and take this dangerous subject off the street. His reckless behavior
endangered the lives of many innocent people, and he will be held accountable.”

The charges for which Giller was arrested are merely accusations and are not evidence of
guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent
jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
