Ashlynn Willis, a 14-year-old girl, has been reported missing. A missing persons report was filed Monday for Willis with the Rolla Police Department.

The 14-year-old girl allegedly ran away from the Youth Pathways Center in Rolla at approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18.

Ashlynn’s guardian, her grandfather, Dale Thomas of Lowry City, Missouri, said he received a call from the center at approximately 11 p.m. on Monday, saying Ashlynn had run away.

Thomas said the center told him she may be in the company of a young man who also ran away from the facility. Thomas said the facility was unable to chase after them.

Thomas also said the boy allegedly has family in the surrounding area, and he believes she may be traveling towards either Houston, Missouri or Sullivan.

Thomas added Ashlynn was supposed to released into his custody Monday.

The Rolla Police are actively looking for Ashlynn, according to Captain Smith, who said the department has two officers investigating the case.

“We love her and want her to come home,” Thomas told the Rolla Daily News.

Ashlynn was allegedly last seen near 10th street in Rolla. Those with any information on Ashlynn’s whereabouts should call the Rolla Police Department at 573-308-1213.
