The Crocker Lady Lions played a very tough Eugene Lady Eagles team on Monday. The Eagles just barely Edged the Lady Lions out in the matchup.


The game started off strong for both teams defensively as the Lady Eagles led 10-5 after the first period. The Lady Lions were able to outscore Eugene 10-8 during the second period. Eugene led 18-15 going into halftime of the game.

The Crocker Lady Lions were able to come out again and outscore the Lady Eagles 10-7 in the third period. Both teams were tied at twenty five points each. The final quarter was a tough one as both teams tried to hang on for the win. The Lady Eagles were able to hold the Lady Lions 11-7 in the period. The Eugene Lady Eagles won the game 36-32.

The Crocker Lady Lions were led by Macey Connell in the game with eleven points. Kaitlyn Gambill was not far behind her with eight points in the matchup. Carcah Dean scored five points for the Lady Lions. Both Morgan Wall and Lindsey Parrish score four points in the tough loss.

The Lady Eagles were led Jodi Polly and Kaydi Alderman who both scored ten points in the win. Leah Shulte and Taylor Luebbaning both scored five points in the close game. Paige Rodemann, McKenzie Peneston, and Alexis Amgerer all added a basket in the tough win.

The Crocker Lady Lions will be back in action against the Newburg Lady Wolves on January 15th. The Eugene Lady Eagles host Calvary Lutheran out of Jefferson City on January 15th.
