The Crocker Lady Lions Hosted the Richland Lady Bears last Thursday. The Lady Bears came away with the win.

Several senior band and choir students were honored before the varsity game. Two Lady Lions were honored before the game as well. Lindsey Parrish and Kaitlyn Gambill were both recognized for their years of basketball. The Crocker Lady Lions were 11-12 during the regular season and The Richland Lady Bears ended the regular season 17-6 on the year.

The game began with the Lady Bears outscoring the Lady Lions 13-7 in the first quarter. The Lady Bears were led in scoring by Morgan Moss who scored eight points. The Lady Lions were led by Morgan Wall with five points in the quarter. The second quarter was a closer one as the Richland girls out score the Crocker girls 17-15. Brittany Latham led the Lady Bears in the second quarter with 11 points. Both Lindsey Parrish and Lacey Connell score two points each in the second quarter.

The Richland Lady Bears led 30-12 going into the first half of the game. The Richland Lady Bears were led in the game by Moss with fourteen points to lead all scores on the night. Wall led the Crocker girls with five points in the first half.

Both teams began the second half close as the Lady Bears were once again able to outscore the Lady Lions 14-13. Moss led the Lady Bears again as she scored eight points in the third quarter. Connell led the Lady Lions with here five points in the period. Richland led 44-25 after three quarters of the game. The Richland girls our scored Crocker in the final period 13-8. Jessi Whittle led the Richland Lady Bears with three points in the final period of the game. The Crocker Lady Lions were led in the period by Connell who scored four points. The Richland Lady Bears were able to come away with the win of 57-33.

The Crocker Lady Lions were led in the game by Junior Macey Connell with 12 points in the loss. Sophomore Morgan Wall added seven points for Crocker. Both Sophomore Abigail Posten and Sophore Mariah Dean scored four points each. Senior Kaitlyn Gambill, Freshman Megan Becker, and Senior Lindsey Parrish all score two points for the Lady Lions.

The Richland Lady Bears were led in the game by Senior Morgan Moss with 23 points and Senior Brittany Latham with 17 points in the final season win. Senior Jaycee Graves scored six points for the Lady Bears. Freshman Kaitlyn Cole and Senior Jessi Whittle combined for seven points on the night. Both Juniors Kiley Cargill and Madi Weller score two points each in the game.

The Richland Lady Bears next game is tonight against the Belle Lady Tigers after they defeated the Laquey Lady Hornets in the first round of the district tournament in Laquey. The Crocker Lady Lions defeated the Vienna Lady Eagles in the first round on Saturday also in Laquey. Crocker will go against the Stoutland Lady Tigers tonight.
