Roger M. Jones, 48, of Devils Elbow is facing multiple charges in relation to the sexual abuse of a male child under the age of 14.

Jones has been charged with one count of class A felony Child Molestation in the first degree, felony Statutory Sodomy in the first degree, and class E felony Incest. If convicted of the charges, Jones faces between 10 and 30 years or life for the molestation charge, up to five years for the sodomy charge, and two to four years for the incest charge.
The investigating officer wrote in the probable cause statement that the alleged victim disclosed that various sexual acts had allegedly been done to him over the course of a year "continuously." The victim also alleged that Jones used multiple objects in and on the victim's body during the course of the alleged abuse.
The objects used during the course of the alleged abuse, described by the victim, were located inside the residence by the investigating officer, according to the probable cause statement.
According to the probable cause statement, Jones "confessed" to using one of the objects on the victim and admitted to other sex acts and attempted sex acts with the victim. Jones also told the investigating officer, according to the charging document, that he demonstrated, to the victim, how to use one of the objects.
Additionally, Jones allegedly admitted to a sexual relationship with the victim's adult sibling and taking "three pictures" of the sibling after sexual intercourse.
Jones is being held on a $500,000 cash or surety bond and is scheduled for a hearing on March 6, 2018.
