Proposed senior housing
St. Robert Board of Aldermen met on Tuesday to discuss a resolution in support of Four Corners for proposed senior housing, and several proposed ordinances including a contract amendment with Zeigenbein Sanitation Services, lighting on Missouri Avenue, a sellers agency listing contract and an agreement with KPM Certified Public Accountants to audit St Robert’s general purpose financial statement for 2017.
Mayor George Lauritson, Aldermen Theresa Cook, Charles Slider, Linda Daniels, Reggie Hall, Todd Williams, Allen Johannsen, and Michael Myers were present. John Moore was absent.
Three more things to know from the Board of Aldermen:
1. Residential Trash Collection Ordinance 3200 approved a modification on Ziegenbein Sanitation Services contract for residential trash collection.
Ziegenbein Sanitation Services will collect residential trash. Residents will be charged $11.25. The City of St. Robert will add a surcharge ( administrative fee) of $1.75 for billing and collection services. The new price for residential trash collection and pick up will be $13.00. The City will continue to bill residents for trash collection and will notify Ziegenbein Sanitation Services of any delinquent accounts. Service will halted until payment has been received.
This amended ordinances only applies to residential trash pick up.
The City of St. Robert is considering a proposed plan by Four Corners Development, LLC to provide affordable senior and low income housing.
The proposed location is on Zeigenbein Road and Andrews Drive. The developer, also the developer of Skyview Heights housing in Waynesville, is applying for funding approval with the Missouri Housing Development Commission.
3.Expansion of office space for St Robert Missouri Veterans Commission
The Missouri Veterans Commission, located in the St. Robert Municipal Building, would like to expand their existing space to add an additional file room and office.
Ordinance 3198 approved task order #3 with CM Archer Group, P.C. to put together a bid package and construction documents to “illustrate the overall scope of the project and to facilitate competitive bidding and award of construction contract.”
