The 3rd Chemical Brigade leadership team visited the James S. McDonnell USO at Lambert St. Louis International Airport Feb. 28 to recognize those who supported Fort Leonard Wood's 2017 Holiday Block Leave. More than 6,000 Soldiers headed home for the holidays in December. Col. Sean Crockett, 3rd Chemical Brigade commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Micah Huling, 3rd Chemical Brigade command sergeant major, presented certificates of appreciation to the USO of Missouri, St. Louis Community Fire Department, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Troop 457 and Troop 1328, St. Louis International Airport Police Department and St. Louis International Airport Transportation Security Administration. The brigade also presented 136 certificates to each of the USO volunteers who selflessly helped with one of the largest noncombat movements of Soldiers in the continental U.S.
