Poor Mac showed up at someone's home begging to be let in!  Unfortunately their dog was NOT a fan of this idea, so he came to us!  He'll be turning 3 years old next month, and when we asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said "meow!", which means "a forever home!".  This cute bob-tail boy has so much personality.  He does boss the other kitties around a bit at the shelter, so probably wouldn't do well with another dominant cat.  He is super sweet and adores people!! Won't you bring this sweet boy home?
Mac's adoption fee helps cover her neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, testing for Leukemia & FIV (neg/neg), deworming and flea prevention. MAC IS AVAILABLE THROUGH KITTEN DIVISION ADOPTION CENTER

Dakota came to Loving Paws as part of a big local rescue case, where he was one of roughly 80 dogs.  He didn't get socialized much, he was kept in an outside run at all times, with little human interaction. When we started helping on the scene, we quickly learned that Dakota was a very sweet and goofy dog, super playful. That is, once he works through his initial insecurity towards strangers. He will need a very patient and loving home, where he can continue to open up and thrive. A volunteer trainer has started working with him on trust, and he is making great progress with leash training, etc. He seems to be good with other dogs, but will chase cats. Dakota tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment (started 3/2/2018), so he is only available to "foster to adopt" at this time.
If you are interested in Dakota, please call 573-736-2088 or email
His adoption fee of $120 includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip with lifetime registration, flea and tick prevention and dewormer.
