Investigations into alleged child pornography activities have lead to the arrest of two St. Robert men.

Bryan Austin Prather,19, and Maumau V. Benner, 19, were taken into custody on March 21, following an investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control. 

Prather and Benner are being held on possession of child pornography charges. 

Benner was arrested at his home on Shara Drive after investigators allegedly found evidence of pornographic images on a computer. Investigators were able to download a video file showing a child and an adult female involved in a pornographic act involving a male.  

Benner was taken to the Pulaski County Jail where he is being held on $500,000 bond. If convicted, 

he faces 5 to 15 years in prison.

Prather was arrested at his residence on 119 Kale Street when investigators served a search warrant. Pornographic videos were allegedly found on a computer in Prather’s bedroom. The videos showed young female children.

Prather was taken to the Pulaski County Jail where he is being held on $500,000 bond. If convicted, he faces 5 to 15 years in prison.

It is unclear if the two arrests are related.
