The Nissan Sentra struck an embankment and several trees before overturning.
An Iberia man suffered injuries described as serious in a one-vehicle crash in Pulaski County early Sunday morning.
Chase C. Blankenship was taken by ambulance to Fort Leonard Wood Hospital for treatment, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, after the accident on Highway U one mile west of Crocker around 1:10 a.m. March 25, 2018.
The 23-year-old was driving a 2010 Nissan Sentra west when the vehicle reportedly swerved into the center of the roadway, crossed back, then went off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment and several trees. The vehicle then overturned, according to the MSHP report.
The report indicated Blankenship was not wearing a seatbelt. The Sentra was described as totaled and was towed from the scene.
