The Crocker Lions and Dixon Bulldogs ran some good times at the Osage Open Track Meet.
The Dixon Bulldogs began the running events with the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:43.67.
The Lions and the Bulldogs both had runners compete in the 110 meter hurdles. 2017 state qualifier Trevor Graves won the meet with a time of 17.04 while Porter from Crocker ran 19.42 and placed third overall.
The Lions had several runners run the 100 meter dash. Hoxworth ran 12.12 while Bryant was not far behind with a time of 12.94. Shockley ran 12.01 and Gann led the team with a time of 11.91.
The Dixon Bulldogs were led by Weed with a time of 12.36 and Marr who ran 13.45. The Crocker Lions edged out the Dixon Bulldogs with a time of 1:38.53 to the Bulldogs 1:40.62.
Dixon had two runners compete in the mile during the night. Bearaslee ran a time of 5:38 while Williams ran 6:07.
The Crocker Lions placed second in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 46.78.
The Bulldogs senior and last years state qualifier Zach Webster ran a time of 54.60 in the 400 meter run. Zolman ran 1:03.60 in the same heat. Keith ran 1:00.67 while Marr ran 1:02.68. The Lions were led in the 400 by Lancaster with a time of 59.96. Newcomb ran 1:02.31 in the race.
The Lions were led by Porter in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 46.38. Graves of Dixon ran 49.11.
The Bulldogs were led in the 800 meter run by Perry with a time of 2:18.56 while Williams ran 2:34.73 in the meet. The Lions were represented by Gray with a time of 2:39.25 and Kerriger who ran 2:39.65.
The Lions came out strong in the 200 meter sprint as Gann ran a time of 24.14 and Porter ran 24.71. Hornsworth ran a time of 25.02. The Bulldogs were represented by Weed who ran 25.15 in the meet. Perry ran strong also in the race.
Beardaslee ran a strong time of 12:28 in the 3200 meter run and placed fourth overall for Dixon. The Dixon Bulldogs ran a time of 3:56.95 in the 4x400 meter relay while the Lions ran 4:16.44 on the night.
Gann jumped 18’7.5” in the long jump. Bryant made it 18”3” in the long jump also for the Lions. Shockley placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 39’10” while Roberts jumped 37’ 0”. Bryant was not far ahead of him with a jump of 37’7”.
The Lions took both the top spots in the high jump with Boorom Winning with a height of 5”10 and Shockley was just behind him with a jump of 5’8”.
The Bulldogs threw very well in the Javelin as Perry threw for 126’7” and Graves threw a distance of 116’4”. Rutherford threw the shot put a total distance of 33’5”
