Our members have been training for their respective Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events.

Spring is upon us! Before you know it, we will be out planting in the garden and enjoying the great outdoors. We’ve had a taste of this several times, but old man winter keeps coming back for the last word.

As we move further into March, winter weather will give way to spring rains
that lead to May flowers. We’ve been very active in the greenhouse; planting
away and caring for the plants that a lot of our supporters will be growing in their gardens next month.

Our members have been training for their respective Career Development Events (CDE) and Leadership Development events (LDE). We have members competing in Ag Mech., Soil Judging, Livestock Judging, Public Speaking, and various other contests. In these contests, our members are challenged do various tasks from speaking in front of judges to categorizing specific types of animals, judging soils, identifying parts or completing a skill in the shop.

We had one member participate in the Area 13 Division 2 Public Speaking competition. Chloe Moss competed and got first place and she will now move on to the District competition happening soon. Tori Sasfy placed in the top 10 of the Livestock competition. Chandler Whittle and Payne Leuthen also did an outstanding job in the Area 13 Ag Mech contest. We are very proud of our members and all the hard work they put in to achieve this goal.
