Two road projects funded by the Missouri Department of Transportation will get underway later this summer.

The Missouri Highway Commission approved the contracts for the two projects totaling over $500,000 this week.

A $567,797 contract was awarded to Willard asphalt and Paving to resurface two roadways in Pulaski and Texas counties. The project includes resurfacing Route TT between Route AW and Fort Leonard Wood and Route AW from Route TT to Route 17 in Pulaski County. The project is scheduled to take place this summer.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will notify the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.

The commission approved a contract to replace a culvert on Interstate 44 Outer Road in Pulaski County. N.B. West Contracting was awarded the contract for replacing the culvert west of Missouri Route 7 after submitting the low bid of $103,954.
