Meet the newest member of the Daily Guide staff. 

Abby Johnson, of Lebanon, has joined the Daily Guide staff as a general assignment  reporter. Abby will be filling in while Managing Editor Natalie Sanders is on medical leave. Natalie is expected to return in 5-6 weeks. 

In the meantime, Abby will be out and about in Pulaski County gathering news and features on interesting peoples, places and events. Abby is looking forward to covering the county, Waynesville and St. Robert. 

Abby was born and raised in Lebanon.      She is a 2016 graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. She most recently worked as a freelance reporter for the Daily Guide before being hired. She received a degree in writing from SBU where she worked on the campus newspaper, The Omnibus, as a general assignment reporter.

After graduating from Lebanon High School, Johnson attended Ozark Technical Community College in Lebanon on the A+ program.

Johnson enjoys reading and writing, and pulls from her traveling experiences to Rome as part of a high school Latin class. She has two younger sisters.
