An Engineer Spouse’s Day event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 17. The day will feature a competitive, team-building experience that involves a closer look at engineer vehicles, inert mine detection, door breaching with manual tools, an urban operations paintball exercise, rappelling, and more. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to complete all events. Attendees will also gain a greater understanding of the resources available to spouses within the Fort Leonard Wood community. Military spouses of all services are welcome. Cost is $25 and includes a T-shirt and lunch. Attendees must be 18 years or older to participate. RSVP on or before April 13 by calling Capt. S.T.E.A.M. Lab, 4 to 5:30 p.m. April 19 at the Bruce C. Clarke Library. This event will include science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics projects. For April the library will be teaching different water activities and the importance of clean water and conservation. Due to the use of water it is suggested to bring a towel and change of clothes. The Engineer Regimental Ball and Awards Ceremony is planned for 7 p.m. April 20 at Nutter Field House.
