Waynesville High School senior and basketball standout Re’shawna Stone was recently recognized by the board of education for her accomplishments on the court. 

Stone was named All State this season. The team had a winning season ending with 20 wins and only 5 losses.

Stone, who has been playing basketball since she was 5, said she was excited when she heard the news. Stone averaged 21 points pregame, had 5 rebounds and 73 percent free throw rate. She made 15 3 point shots for a total of 45 points for the season and averaged 4 steals per game.
