The Pulaski County Frisco League schools competed in the Conference Championship Track Meet that was hosted by Stoutland High School. The Bulldogs and Lions were able to come away with team Championships. Crocker boys won the high school division, while the Dixon boys won the junior high division in a tie with Plato.

High School Boys

The Crocker Lions were the team champions with 187 points. The Licking Wildcats were the runner up in the meet with a score of 159 while the Dixon Bulldogs placed third as team with their 141 points.

Josh Pyatt won the high school meet MVP award with a perfect score of 40 on the day. Dillion Porter of Crocker placed second and Trevor Graves from Dixon was third in the individual athlete points.

Graves from Dixon won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 17.54 in the windy race. Porter from Crocker place third with a time 18.54. Graves was also the 300 meter hurdles conference champion with his time of 43.70 . Porter was the runner up with the time of 43.77.

Adam Shockley from Crocker was the conference runner up in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.21, while fellow Lion Ethan Gan was the third place finisher with his run of 12.31. Gann from Crocker won the 200 meter dash with his time of 24.82, while fellow Lion Porter was just behind him with his time of 25.06. Zach Shetler placed second in the 400 meter dash with his time of 53.08.

Chase Beardslee from Dixon placed third in the 1600 meter run with his time of 5:41.40. Beardslee was the runner up in the 3200 meter run with his time of 12:17.32 in the race.

The Crocker team was again able to win the 4x100 meter relay with a fast time of 47.00. The team members were Ethan Boorom, Gan, Shockley and Clyde Hoxworth. Dixon placed third in the 4x100 meter relay. The team members were Travin Weed, Colby Marr, Tyson Reathaford and JP Zollman. The Crocker Lions won the 4x200 meter relay with their time of 1:36.50. The team consisted of Gan, Porter, Shockley, and Hoxworth. Dixon was the third place team in the 4x200 with their time of 1:41.52. Justin Keith, Isaiah Willis, Graves and Shetler were all part of the team.  

Dixon was the 4x400 meter relay champion with their time of 3:47.50. The team consisted of Shetler, Brady Perry, Keeth and Willis. The Crocker Lions were third in the meet with the time of 4:04.09 in the race. The Lions were represented by Dhenem Lancaster, Felli, Samuel Carringer and Logan Burney. The 4x800 meter relay was won by the Dixon Bulldogs with a time of 9:32.98 in the race. The team consisted of Chase Beardslee, Brady Perry, Willis and Dillion Williams. The Crocker Lions placed second in the 3200 with time of 9:40.26 in the race. Eligh Newcomb, Fabio Felli, Samuel Carringer and Cameron Bryant were all part of the runner up team.

Carringer from Crocker won the javelin with a throw of 136’3” while B. Perry from Dixon was the runner up with his throw of 135’8”.

Bryant from Crocker was the runner up in the long jump with his leap of 18’10 ¼”. Shockley was the conference champion in the triple jump with a lead of 42’3 ½”. Burney placed third with the jump of 39’3”. Boorom from Crocker was the champion in the high jump with his leap of 6’. Weed was the runner up with his personal best jump of 5’8” in the high jump. Porter was the champion in the pole vault with a vault of 11’ even.

Head Dixon high school track coach Jim Brown said this after the meet, “I was very proud of our kids yesterday. That is our strongest finish in a few years. We had a number of our kids establish personal records in their events. That makes for a great day.”

High School Girls

The Licking Lady Wildcats were the girls champions with a score of 168. The Crocker Lady Lions were the runner up in the girls division with 141 in the Conference Championship Meet. Iberia placed third with 120 points.

Melanie Hubbs from Stoutland won the MVP with a score of 38. Abigail Posten of Crocker was the runner up with 28.5 points in the meet.

Posten from Crocker was the runner up in the 100 meter dash with the time of 13.93. Emily Echman from Richland was the runner up of the 400 meter dash with here time of 1:05.80.

Madison Marley was the conference runner up with the time 2:51.57 in the 800 meter run. Callie McMurtrey placed third in the 800 with the time of 2:52.57. Sydney Hoxsworth placed third in the 1600 meter run with the time of 6:19.45 in the race. Hoxsworth was the conference runner up with her run of 13.47.41.

Crocker was the 4x100 meter champions with this run of 55.08 in the tight race. Crocker was represented by Posten, Marian Dean, Madison Markley, and Morgan Wall. The Lady Lions were the runner up in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:59.23. The team consisted of Ivy Harrison, Victoria Sasfy, Callie McMurtrey, and Gan. The Lady Lions placed third in the 4x400 meter relay with the time of 5:04.50 in the race. The members of the team were Gan, Markley, Carringer, and Guilianna Shurtleff. The Crocker Lady Lions won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 11:52.94 in the race. The team consisted of Markley, Hoxworth, Isabella Carringer, and Madison Gan. The Lady Bears placed third in the 4x800 with the time of 12:50.84 in the long relay. That team consisted of Megan Peterson, Lindsay Peterson, Adrialise Jones, and Leanne Bailey.

Wall from Crocker placed third in the discus with a throw of 80’1”.

Lady Lions Posten was the Frisco League runner up with a jump of 14’11 ½”. Posten was the triple jump champion with here leap of 34’3 ¼”. Dean of Crocker placed third in the high jump with a leap of 4’8”. Wall was also the champion in the pole vault with a vault of 7’. 

Junior High Boys

The Dixon Bulldogs and Plato Eagles both tied with 109 points in the meet to claim the Junior High Conference Co-Championship.

Riley Solan from Dixon was the Junior High Boys Frisco League MVP with 30 points in the meet. David Carringer from Crocker was the runner up with 28 points, while Dillon Haag placed third with 26.5 points.

Dixon claimed the top two spots in the 100 meter hurdles. Riley Solan was the champion with a run of 17.76, while Gabe McDonald was the runner up.

David Carringer from Crocker won the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.94, while Dillion Haag was the runner up with his run of 13.14 in the fast race. Solan was the champion in the 200 meter run with a time of 27.49, while Justin Skyles from Dixon placed third with a time of 28.54. Haag won first place in the 400 meter dash with a his time of 59.80. The Lions’ Carringer was the runner up with a very close time of 59.83.

The Bears’ Hunter Reed was the conference winner in the 800 meter run. He ran a time of 2:31.57 in the race.

The Crocker Lions  were the Frisco League Champions in the 4x100 meter relay with their run of 53.95. Their team consisted of Shawn Boberg, Shawn Carson, Isaac Nickels and Hunter Burton.  The Bulldogs were the 4x200 meter relay champions with their time of 1:50.36 in the race. The team consisted of McDonald, Haag, Solan and Justin Skyles. The Richland Bears were the runners with with a run of 1:54.94 in the 4x200. That team was represented by Keith Fisher, Hunter Reed, Davin Williams, and Noah Johnson.

Solan from Dixon was the runner up in the long jump with a leap of 16’2 ¼”. Carringer from Crocker won the triple jump with a leap of 34’4”. Noah Johnson from Richland was the runner up with a jump of 32’8 ½”. Johnson won the high jump with a jump of 5’2” and Carter Orrison from Crocker placed second with his jump of 4’8”.

Junior High Girls

The Iberia Rangers were the winning team in the Junior High Girls Division followed by Licking and then Plato.

Harper Rollins from Iberia was the MVP for the Division with 32.5 points. Kaylee Gambill from Crocker was the champion in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.54.

Angel Eubanks from Crocker was the runner up in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:18.73 in the race. She was also the runner in in the 800 meter run with here time of 2:59.27.

Hallie Heltz from Dixon was the runner in the Discus with a throw of 64’11”.

Meghan Campise from Crocker was the runner up in the triple jump 27’4 ¼”.
