The Dixon Lady Bulldogs had one of their best seasons in years this fall. They are continuing the tradition this season with multiple 10 run or more wins.

The Lady Bulldogs faced the Licking Lady Wildcats this week. They won the varsity game 26-1 in three innings.

Tressa Hughes got the win allowing one unearned run and striking out seven in two innings while Lauren Gilbert struck out one in one inning. Dixon scored 10 in the first, five in the second and 11 in the third.

The Dixon Girls had two hits from Taylor McKinnon, Hughes, Gilbert, Maddy Yoakum and Emily Johnson in the win. Ryli Martin, Izzy Thiltgen, and Bethany Koch also had one hit each in the game.

McKinnon and Hughes had five runs each in the game. Yoakum scored four times in the win, while Thiltgen scored three times. Gilbert, Martin, and Johnson all had two run each in the conference win. Koch, Payton Ramsey and Lily Malone had a run in the game also.

Hughes led the Bulldogs with four runs batted in during the contest. McKinnon and Gilbert had three RBIs in the game. Martin, Thiltgen, Koch, Yoakum and Johnson all had one RBI in the three inning win.

The junior varsity team was able to pick up another win on the night. Dixon won 6-3 over Licking.

Yoakum, Malone, Ramsey, Koch, Thiltgen, Martin, Gilbert and McKinnon all had a hit in the JV win. Yoakum, Malone, Ransey, Martin, Gilbert, and McKinnon all scored. Both Yoakum and Thiltgen had two runs batted in during the game.

Payton Ramsey got the win allowing two earned runs on two hits while striking out two and allowing two walks in two innings. Lauren Gilbert walked one and struck out two in one inning. Dixon scored three in the first and the second while Licking scored one in the first and two in the second.
