Head Richland Lady Bears coach Charley Parker said this about Brittany Latham, "It is an honor to have coached such an amazing young lady like Brittany. Brittany is a player who not only excelled on the basketball court but in the classroom as well. The requirements for this award were tough to achieve but Brittanys hard work and success in the classroom made her a very deserving recipient for this award. This young lady has set such a positive example both on and off of the court for our younger players. She is going to be missed within our program.
Morgan Moss was one of the other strong players on the team. She was an All-District, All-State, and All-Tournament team selection.
Coach Parker said this about Morgan Moss, "It was an honor to have coached Morgan for these four years. Not everyday do you get an all-state player to come through your program and I was blessed to have had one this year. Morgans hard work and dedication all those years in the gym finally paid off. I am excited for Morgan and her receiving this award. She has set a positive example for our future players. Morgan is going to be missed within our program.”
