The Crocker Lions, Laquey Hornets, and Richland Bears ended their season in the Class 2 District 9 Baseball Tournament held at Stoutland High School last week.

Crocker Lions & Laquey Hornets

The Lions opened their tournament with a game against the Laquey Hornets. Crocker went into the game with a 6-12-1 record while the Hornets had a 1-21 record. The Lions won the first round game 13-0. Laquey ended their season with a 1-22 record on the year.

The Lions had a tougher game in the semifinal round of the tournament against the 14-10 Hartville Eagles. The Lions fell in the game 0-5 to the Eagles. Crocker ended their season with a 7-13-1 record for the spring season. 

Richland Bears

The Bears began the District tournament with a 6-5 win over the host Stoutland Tigers. The Bears had a 3-15 record after the first round game.

The Bears face the Plato Eagles who were 18-5 in the next round. This was another close game for both teams. The Eagles won the game 1-0 off a wild pitch early in the game. The Bears finished their season with a 3-16 record for the spring season.
