Kevin Schnicker has been named as assistant principal at Waynesville High School.

Schnicker entered education through the Troops to Teachers Program after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force.  He began his education career as an in-school suspension supervisor and football and basketball coach for the Sedalia School District in 2006. In 2007, he became a world history teacher with the Sedalia School District where he taught in multiple capacities until 2013.  He then accepted a position at Osage School District as an American history/current events teacher and football and soccer coach. Since 2014, he has served as a physical education teacher, head boys basketball coach and assistant football coach for the Osage School District.  

Schnicker holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from Chapman University and a master’s degree in education administration from William Woods University.

He also has been a volunteer assistant men’s basketball coach at William Woods University from 2017 until present.  He and his wife Sonya have two children.
