Ruby’s Landing’s Fourth of July Celebration

Fourth of July comes early for Ruby’s Landing. Planning to hold a six day celebration, Ruby’s Landing invites the public to join along in small events leading up to a Fourth of July luncheon. The first event is on June 29, with a bonfire. On June 30, Ruby’s Landing will hold a karaoke contest with the first-place winner winning a raft rental ($75 dollar value) for three people. On Sunday, July 1, Ruby’s Landing will hold a canoe race between 45 teams of two people. Registration is required and cost $20 dollars. Winners will receive cash prizes, with the first-place winner receiving $225.00 dollars. July 2, Ruby’s Landing will hold a river float and on July 3, another bonfire will take place in the evening. Guests that camped over the weekend will receive a ticket for the Customer Appreciation Luncheon. The luncheon starts at noon. Check the Ruby’s Landing Facebook page for more information. Adoption Event and Customer Appreciation Day

Looking for your new four legged companion or wanting to add to your dog’s pack? Petsense teams up with Loving Paws Adoption Center, Kitten Division Adoption Center and Puppy Division Adoption Center for an adoption event. On June 30, Petsense in St. Robert encourages loving families to check out the cats and dogs that need a new home. Zero Ducks Given Pool Party at Backwater Jacks

Those looking to get the party started before the Fourth might be interested in the Zero Ducks Given Pool Party at Backwater Jacks at the Lake. With celebrity hosts, DJs, live bands and other fun, guests can enjoy a night geared for the adults. DJ sets will be performed by Dmega, Greasy and Jwin.
