Fall isn’t the only season meant for a night of haunted houses, scares and a good time. Rising Haunted Attractions is inviting the public to join their first ever “Summer Scarefest” on Friday, July 13. From 8 p.m. to midnight, Rising Haunted Attractions is opening their haunted house tour for one night only this summer.

“This is the first time we’ve tried this,” Owner and operator of the Rising Haunted Attraction Matt Perrine said. Perrine said he is hopeful Summer Scarefest could be a yearly event.

The event is open to all ages, but parental discretion is advised for younger children. The first 150 guests will receive a free t-shirts. Tickets are sold at the gate and they accept cash or credit cards. Tickets cost $20 dollars and Perrine said the price covers popcorn, monster themed face painting, games and a movie showing of the cult classic, “Friday, the 13th.”

The ticket price also covers entry into the haunted house. Perrine said haunted house actors will be there like their traditional season which starts late September. The Rising Haunted Attraction Facebook page posted an ad looking for more volunteers to join their team.
