Independence Day is right around the corner and there are a few fun-filled events to attend to enjoy Fireworks. We have the insight to the free events that you do not want to miss!
Ruby’s Landing in Waynesville will host a fireworks presentation on Saturday, June 30th at sunset. There will also be a karaoke contest starting at 6 p.m. First place winner will receive a raft rental for three people valued at $75.
Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) of Ft. Leonard Wood will host an Independence Day celebration at Gammon Field on July 4th starting at 6:15 p.m. There will be activities, games, music from ChristiAna and Smallpools, and one of the largest fireworks presentations.
To get in the festive spirit, Fort Leonard Wood Homes is hosting an event where guests can create their own Fourth of July themed t-shirts on July 2. The event will take place at Stonegate Community Center and guests must RSVP online with their sizes. To let them know you’re coming, more information can be found at the “Fourth of July Shirts” event page on Facebook. Be sure to wear those shirts you made if you will be at the celebration at Gammon Field.
Shady Dell Park in Richland will host a large fireworks presentation on July 7th. The event will be from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Before sunset, there will be vendors setup throughout the park and will include music and food.
If you’re looking for something indoors to beat the July heat, then Cantina Bravo Mexican Grille in St. Robert is hosting a Fourth of July event on the holiday. Guests can come and go as they please, but the restaurant plans to watch the fireworks. There will be discounts for food and drinks, including large margaritas. Cantina Bravo will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the Fourth.
