The Fourth of July fun is over for now, so why not spend the weekend after doing something more low key and relaxing? Here’s some stuff you might find interesting to do this weekend.

Annual Buckhorn Blast

For five dollars, you can attend the 2018 Annual Buckhorn Blast hosted by the Shrine Club. On July 7, starting at noon, you can take your family for an afternoon of child friendly games from a dunk tank to a bounce house. The Poker Run will have their last car out 11 a.m. and everyone will be back at 5 p.m. All vehicles are welcomed, but you must register after 9 a.m. on the same day. For more information, then check out the “L28 Buckhorn Blast” event page on Facebook.

Buckhorn Swap Meet

Looking to test your haggling or independent retail skills or just wanting to look around? Buckhorn Swap Meet is hosting a swap meet for those interested. Those interested in selling must pay a registration fee of $5 dollars. Buckhorn Swap Meet encourages potential buyers and sellers to come early since vendors may leave once the July heat becomes too hot, but don’t let that discourage you from the little odds and ends Pulaski County residents are waiting for you to uncover.

Old Towne Antiques Flea Market

If you’re wanting to continue your quest to find other little knickknacks to hoard, Old Towne Antiques is holding their own outdoor event on July 6 in Rolla. Those who are interested in selling their products must call ahead of time to get set up. Admission is free and open to the public, so you can come and go as you’d like if you want to beat the July heat.
