Chloe Trusty graduated in the Waynesville in the spring.
She was one of the top tennis players for the Lady Tigers this year and is bring her talents to John Brown University where she will she will continue her career.
Trusty will be majoring in Chemistry for the Golden Eagles.
When she was about the process of playing in college, this is what she said, “Work hard and keep your options open. Do not be afraid to reach out to colleges. You may not receive several emails or calls from coaches about playing, but you can always contact them. Sometimes, you can even receive a sports scholarship due to taking the initiative of contacting the coach.”
She has received two varsity letters at Waynesville and was selected to the Ozark Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention team in 2016 and 2017.
Trusty said this when asked about what here greatest memory is as a Tiger Tennis player, “My greatest memory at Waynesville was playing tennis with my wonderful team, and winning our double dual against Parkview and Hillcrest on senior night.”
A key opponent for her this last year was Camdenton. Here is what she said about playing the Lady Crusaders, “One key opponent for me, personally, was Camdenton. They were a team that often times Waynesville would be very closely matched with. It always made for an eventful matc, and a win worthwhile.”
John Brown will begin their season on September 30th at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville Arkansas.
