Please note that new 7th and 8th grade students will need to complete the enrollment process at Waynesville High School, due to construction at the middle school. Seventh and eighth graders will attend Waynesville Middle School at the start of the school year; however, due to the ongoing construction new student enrollment for 7th and 8th graders will be held at the Lecture Hall in the Ninth Grade Center on the WHS campus. The Lecture Hall is located on the east side of the building near Tiger Stadium.

New student enrollment for the Waynesville R-VI School District will be held July 24 and 25 for students living in Waynesville, St. Robert and Fort Leonard Wood.

For 6-12 graders, all Waynesville R-VI students attend a building based on the grade they are in – regardless of where they live. Sixth grade students attend the Waynesville Sixth Grade Center; 7th and 8th grade students attend Waynesville Middle School, but will need to enroll in the Lecture Hall of the Ninth Grade Center at WHS; and all 9th through 12th graders attend Waynesville High School and will enroll near the main entrance to the high school.

Elementary students attend a specific building, based on where they live. For elementary school attendance areas, please go to This site also may be reached by going to and clicking on the New Student Info tab across the top of the page, then clicking on Online Enrollment and then clicking on 2018-2019 Enrollment Information.

New students to the Waynesville R-VI School District may pre-enroll online by clicking on the “Online Enrollment” link across the top of the district’s main webpage at New students may pre-register for the 2018-19 school year by following the steps on the webpage.

• registered birth certificate (see Kindergarten and First Grade Entry Requirements

    under the 2018-19 Enrollment Information)

• shot record (see Immunizations)

• last grade card (if applicable)

• transfer sheet (if provided)

• any other information from previous school

If your student was enrolled in the Waynesville R-VI School District during the 2017-18 School Year and will be returning in the fall, your child will automatically be enrolled for the next school year.

The first day of school for the 2018-19 school year will be Aug. 15. It will not be a late-start Wednesday.
