The Waynesville Stingrays hosted the Fort Leonard Wood Cardinals for a fourth grade baseball game and both teams played a tough game. The Cardinal boys won the game 13-8.

The game began with the Cardinals taking a three run lead after the first half inning. The Waynesville boys were able to take the lead after the bottom half of the inning by scoring four runs. The Stingrays led the game 4-3 after one inning.

Fort Leonard Wood scored five runs to close out the top of the second inning to take the lead the back. The Cardinals led the game 8-4 after their at bat. Waynesville added another run to their score in the bottom half and made the game closer. The Cardinals led the game 8-5 after the conclusion of the second inning.

The Cardinals scored five more runs in the top of the third inning to secure the win as there is a five run limit in each innings. Fort Leonard Wood led 13-5 after the first half inning. The Stingrays scored three runs in the bottom half of the third inning as the game time ran out.

The Fort Wood Cardinals won the game 13-8 in three innings.
