This year three Dixon Bulldogs were awarded Academic All-State by the Missouri Track and Cross Country Coaches Association. All three of them have been part of the Bulldogs sports programs for several years and are great examples of athletes.
Alyssa Cash is going to be a sophomore this year for the Lady Bulldogs. She Competed in Cross Country and Track the last several years. She has been a conference medalist and also was a strong competitor for the teams in both sports at the end of the season in the district meets.
She plans to run again this season in both sports and improve on her success.
Braden Perry is going into his senior year and plan on playing Soccer as well as running Cross Country and Track. Perry has also played baseball for the Bulldogs where he was part of some successful teams.
He was not only All-State based on academics, as he placed seventh in the Missouri Class 2 State Championship in the Javelin. Perry also won the Class 2 Sectional 3 Championship in javelin.
Dillon Williams graduated this last spring and joined the military. He ended his high school career with a state appearance in the 4x400 meter relay as long with a sectional appearance in the 4x800 meter relay.
Williams was part of a second place cross country team his junior year and had been selected All-Conference multiple times.
