Michael Siegel has been named director of Columbia College-Fort Leonard Wood. Siegel will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the campus, including class scheduling and student and faculty recruitment and retention.
Siegel retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. He held several positions while in the service, including assistant commandant of the Noncommissioned Officers Academy and operation sergeant of the Basic Military Police Training.
Siegel received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Troy University in Troy, Ala., and his master's degree in emergency and disaster management from American Military University in Charlestown, W.Va.
