FORT LEONARD WOOD—  The 250th Multi-Role Bridge Company is slated to conduct water crossing and float bridge operations Dec. 8 and 9 in preparation for an Iraq deployment.
Water crossing and float bridge operations are slated at the Missouri National Guard Ike Skelton Headquarters Training Site, Jefferson City, Mo. For this training, soldiers will take part in boat, ribbon bridge and river patrol operations on the Missouri River in Jefferson City.
 The unit is also scheduled to conduct a Maybe-Johnson Bridge build Dec. 8 and 9 at Fort Leonard Wood.
The MJB allows engineer units to upgrade routes for heavier traffic, replace damaged civilian bridges, replace assault and general support bridges, and to provide a long span floating bridge capability.
 More than 130 Soldiers are deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
 The 250th MRBC, an Army Reserve unit with soldiers from Connecticut, is scheduled to be deployed more than six months.
