The 2010 Father Daughter Dance will be in Nutter Field House. A photographer will be available for portraits beginning at 5 p.m.

This year, the event holds some new changes— one is that more photographers will be available to capture the highlights of the occasion.

Also, tickets will only be available for purchase at the Information, Ticketing and Registration (ITR) office located in Building 490 through the close of business Feb. 5.

Tickets will not be sold at the door this year as in previous years. Ticket cost is $3.

According to Molly Kucera, “The event offers a wonderful opportunity for fathers and daughters to have a night out, and for fathers to show their daughters the proper way to go out on a date.”
Kucera added, “this is good father daughter bonding time, and the event provides a way for fathers to encourage strong and healthy future relationships for their daughters.”

Dress for the event is formal.

Military dads should wear Dress Blues or Class A uniform, and recommended dress for civilians is tuxedo or suit and tie. Daughters should wear formal dresses.

The event is open to military identification card holders and Department of Defense civilians.

Light refreshments will be served.
