More growth is taking place in downtown Waynesville, this time at the site of building that has sat vacant for years.

Workers can be seen giving the building, located at the corner of Historic Route 66 and Benton Street, just across the street from the Old Courthouse Museum, a new lease on life.

In years past the building  had been home to a real estate company.

Builder Tom Campbell has made the investment to renovate the facility, which will be the new home of Lone Oak Printing Co., currently located off Ichord Avenue.

It will also feature two floors of apartments in its upper levels.
