The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will perform edge rut repair on two sections of highway beginning Tuesday in Pulaski County.
MoDOT will make the repairs of Route 133 from Route 17 to the Maries County line, and another section from Route 17 to Interstate 44, beginning Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, crews will perform edge rut repair on Route BB, Pulaski County, from Route 68 to Forum Drive in Rolla, Mo.
The repairs will be made, weather permitting between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Edge rut repair work requires placing material at the edge of the roadway and is necessary to reduce shoulder drop off. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on or near the roadway. This work does require a lane reduction and motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving through these work zones.
