Who inspires you and why do they inspire you?

My inspiration these days is my mother, Betty. She has many medical problems but still is involved in  lot of activities.

What is the best part of school?

The best for me is when a student, “gets it.”

What is the hardest part of school?

The hardest part is seeing a student give up.

What do you think is the most important thing you’ve learned so far this school year?

This school year I’ve learned that the more I encourage others, the harder they seem to try.

What are your goals or plans for the future?

I plan to graduate with a Masters degree in Dec. 2012. I hope to take on some college course to teach. I really enjoy teaching.

What is the most challenging part of teaching and why?

Sometimes, the most challenging part is getting the students to understand there is a future. Life is not just about high school.

What teaching moment is most memorable?

One of my most memorable moment is when a former student returned to tell me that he had received high marks in English at college. He thanked me for pushing him.
