Editor's note: Pulaski County Prosecutor Deborah Hooper has charged the following persons with crimes in the county. The charges are public record and the Daily Guide periodically will run the list.
•Defendant Charles York, 49, of 22171 Royal Leaf Lane in Waynesville has been charged with two Class C felonies of possession of a controlled substance on or about Sept. 14. The charges allege York knowingly possessed oxycodone and Alprazolam, controlled substances, knowing of its presence and nature.
Hearing Set: 9 a.m. Nov 19.
• Defendant Ashton R. Eubanks, 21, of 207 11th St. in Crocker, has been charged with the Class D felony of leaving the scene of a motor-vehicle accident on or about Sept. 3. The charges allege Eubanks was a party to an accident that caused another person to sustain physical injury, and the defendant knew that such injury had occurred, and defendant left the scene of the accident without stopping and giving sufficient information by which the defendant could be readily identified and located to the nearest police station or judicial officer.

• Defendant Herbert Hendrix, 38, of 30801 Missouri Route 17 in Laquey has been charged with the Class B felony of assault of a law-enforcement officer in the second degree on or about Nov. 6. The charges allege Hendrix knew Kimbly J. Elrod was a law-enforcement officer, and the defendant attempted to cause physical injury to Kimbly J. Elrod by means of deadly weapon by pointing a loaded black pump shotgun at him, while the safety was in the "fire" position. Hendrix has also been charged with the Class D felony of unlawful use of a weapon on or about Nov. 6. The charges allege Hendrix knowingly exhibited, in the presence of one or more persons a black pump shotgun, a readily capable of lethal use, in an angry or threatening manner. Hearing set: 9 a.m. Nov. 18.
•Defendant Brian Lane, 27, of Dixon has been charged with the Class B felony of burglary in the first degree on or about Nov. 9. The charges allege Lane knowingly entered unlawfully an inhabitable structure, located at 114 Ziegienbien Circle No. 15 and possessed by Rebecca White for the purpose of committing False Imprisonment therein, and while in such inhabitable structure, a person who has was not a participant in the crime. Lane has also been charged with the Class D felony of resisting an arrest on or about Nov. 9. The charges allege Lane knew or reasonably should have known that the officers were making an arrest, and for the purpose of preventing the officers from effecting the arrest, resisted the arrest of defendant by fleeing from such officers.

• Defendant Lloyd Mitchell II, 40, of 10674 Trout Road of Devils Elbow has been charged with the Class D felony of criminal non-support on or about October, 2007, through September, 2008. The charges allege Mitchell knowingly failed to provide support in at least six individual months.
Hearing set: 9 a.m. Nov. 18.
• Defendant Steven Pranger, 52, of 124 Hoyle St. of St. Robert has been charged with the Class D felony of driving while intoxicated on or about Nov. 10. The charges allege Pranger operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Pranger has also been charged with the Class D felony of driving while license was revoked on or about Nov. 10. The charges allege Pranger operated a motor vehicle on a highway, Zeigenbein Road, during a time when the defendant operator's license was revoked under the laws of this state, and knew that the defendant's operator's license was revoked.
