A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night in Waynesville.
The Waynesville Police Department reports Rhonda West, 51, of Waynesville, was struck by an unidentified vehicle around 10:35 p.m. Sunday on Highway 17 North.
When officers and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrived the vehicle had already left the scene.
West was transported to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
