Most area graduations won’t be held until next week, but two graduation ceremonies will be held tonight.
Seniors in the Laquey R-V School District will hold their graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the high school gym with an eighth-grade promotion ceremony on Monday.
In the Dixon R-I School District, the graduation ceremony will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in the high school gymnasium.
Both school districts have additional information available from the district offices, on when graduating seniors should arrive and when their families may arrive to be seated.
Swedeborg’s graduates from eighth grade held their graduation ceremony on Thursday. Most Swedeborg students go to Richland or to Crocker for high school, with a few attending Waynesville High School, since Swedeborg doesn’t have its own high school.
