The Pulaski County Sewer District has purchased two new trucks from Sellers-Sexton Ford.
Don Theberge, operations manager for the district, said Sellers-Sexton won the bids for the two trucks, a 2010 Ford F150 and a 2011 Ford F350.
Theberge said the district spent $21,376 on the 2010 truck and $29,450 on the 2011 truck.
Sewer District Chairman Gary Porter said the district had originally received no local bids when they first put out their need for new vehicles. Porter said he pressed the board to send out bids a second time, in an effort to keep the business local.
When the bids went out a second time, Sellers-Sexton picked them up and put in their offer, Porter said.
