Gloria Ann Bradley, 91, of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at The Neighborhoods.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 at First Baptist Church. Pastor Ed Rollins will officiate. Burial will be private for the family.

She was born on August 6, 1926, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of James Basil and Anna D. (Hinds) Brockman, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was married on June 20, 1945, in Eldon to C. Melvin Bradley who preceded her in death on March 14, 2003.

Gloria was a music teacher for many years in several schools around the area. She was most proud of the 35 years she spent teaching piano to thousands of students around Columbia.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling, horseback and trail riding, and entertaining.

She sang in the choir at First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, David (Dianne) Bradley of Columbia; grandchildren, Rachael (Ryan) Olive of Ankeny, Iowa, and Kristen Bradley of Columbia; and son-in-law, Charles “Buzz” Daugherty of Versailles, Ky.

Besides her parents and husband of 58 years, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Ann Bradley on May 28, 2018.
