The cities of Waynesville and St. Robert the school district, the Local Y, church groups, Pulaski County businesses join forces to build on indoor swimming pool - competition size with an adjoining state of the art fitness center.
Just think how many people could benefit.
Our schools could have a swim-team exercise program that could be offered for all ages. Our elderly population is increasing, physical therapy, our youth is obese, exercise, some place to hang out. It would cost a fortune, probably would never be self-supporting. So how much would you pay for a membership? Could one of our landowners donate land? Could one of our contractors donate labor or could some of our businesses donate material - it would be a win-win situation.
Ask your neighbor, your friend, your co-worker if they would join, could we se aside our “what’s in it for me” mentality and join to create something wonderful for the future.
