General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. is seeking to hire a full time CRNA. Services are required 1JAN2016 - 31DEC2016. This opportunity is a contract position and open to individuals only. Responses from companies will not be considered. Qualifications which will serve as the criteria for which individuals will be evaluated are: a) years of experience as a CRNA, b) range of services provided, and c) education. Interested parties shall be a licensed Registered Nurse in good standing in one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands with current BLS, ACLS and PALS. The CRNA shall have a minimum of two years' experience (3,600 hours) as a practicing full time CRNA in the last three years after graduation. Time spent in an administrative capacity as a claims reviewer, anesthesia director, CRNA school instructor, etc. does not qualify as practicing time. The CRNA shall be certified as a CRNA and recertified every 2 years by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists and be immediately capable of delivering and monitoring of all types of anesthesia utilized in obstetrical anesthesia (general endotracheal, subarachnoid block and epidural). The CRNA shall be capable of treating patients of all ages and ASA categories of 1, 2 and 3. The CRNA shall have graduated from an accredited educational college or university.
